Multiart Thuijs works for Model Town Madurodam in The Hague, eu.
1952-1957: our design - Architectural, Model Construction bureau, Multiart in the Lijnckertstraat in The Hague, began our parents career by doing exhibits for a large corporations, international fairs and world fairs.
Also delivered many architectural models to Madurodam. Holland, eu.

> 2 July 1952: under great interest by the Dutch people, the 14 year old princess Beatrix, on 2 July 1952, opens Madurodam.
During this openings ceremony on 2 July 1952, Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands was installed as first mayor of Madurodam.

1980: on 30 April, She was in the New Church, in Amsterdam, inaugurated as queen of the Netherlands.

Through ingenuity and the love for detail, also other companies were interested in the Architectural Model construction bureau ”MULTIART”.

For the "Royal Porceleyne Fles", Multiart Thuijs made the pottery completely in miniature. Royal Delft, is the oldest, most world famous, last remaining pottery factory from the 17th century, from the Netherlands in eu.

1955: for the "Oil Company Shell", Multiart Thuijs made this sleeping Giant, with several moving elements.

The giant could really snore and his belly moved while "quasi" breathing in his sleep.


1957: Source The Hague News paper The Architectural Model bureau Multiart Lijnckertstraat in The Hague.

Model Builder Arthur A.M. Thuijs, build, together with a crew of 25 people, a big stock of buildings for the Miniature town MINIMUNDUS in Austria.

It is not the only international project of the office Multiart of Mr. Thuijs. The chance is large that over time at New York or California such attractions arisen.

2008: the Minimundus is a miniature park next to the lake the Wörthersee in Klagenfurt, Carinthia, Austria. It displays around 150 miniature models of architecture from around the world, built at a ratio of 1:25.



And we, three of the six, thought it was all very beautiful.
